Evaluating Transforming Your Space

SQW Consulting ran an evaluation of Transforming Your Space between 2004 and 2006.
They looked in particular at the experiences of people who took part in and benefited from the programme. Working with communities, they identified a wide range of emerging benefits.
Overall, Transforming Your Space successfully worked with local communities across the UK and explored a range of ways of getting them involved in projects.
Each year the evaluators produced a full report and a detailed case-study annex, and we produced a summary or an update based on those reports. You can download all of these by clicking on the links on the right of this screen.
- The first-year reports and the update have more information about how the programme and the evaluation were set up in each country.
- The second-year reports focus on progress and detailed experiences of the case-study areas. Our summary highlights the range of benefits emerging.
- The third-year reports and our update report further progress and summarise some of the programme’s overall achievements and themes.
